Positions from this flyer will be filled using a Direct Hiring Authority.
Education may be substituted for specialized experience as follows:
FOR THE NT-02:
Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor’s degree (a) with major study in an appropriate field of engineering, construction, or industrial technology; or (b) that included at least 24 semester hours in any combination of courses such as engineering, engineering or industrial technology, construction, physics, drafting, surveying, physical science, or mathematics.
OR
A combination of experience and post high school education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
NT-02:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-01 (GS-01 to GS-04 equivalency) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector reading and interpreting technical drawings, diagrams, or specifications to perform technical engineering work for an explosive manufacturing program.
