The Boeing Company is currently seeking a T-7A Integration Engineer (Lead) to support Boeing Global Services in Berkeley, Missouri. This would also support the other Training and Autonomous Services platforms (T-38, T-45, & MQ-25) in Hazelwood, Missouri.

Responsibilities range from requirements definition, system architecture development, and systems integration. Work will be conducted by engaging with various subject matter experts throughout the entire development and operational lifecycle, from requirements analysis, design and integration through verification and delivery activities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Ensure an integrated systems engineering approach through development of systems design and interfaces, requirements analysis and definition, systems integration, end user interaction, unit testing, and validation/verification.
  • Generate and manage system requirements and performance specifications with full traceability.
  • Oversees the technical baseline, including configuration management, technical performance measures, and Risk Identification and Opportunity (RIO) assessments. Foster a culture of proactive technical oversight and continuous improvement. Conduct System Requirements Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), and Critical Design Review (CDR).
  • Responsible for ensuring the success of critical technical milestones including Shop Turnover, Hardware Checkout, Hardware/Software Loading, Troubleshooting, Testing, and Fielding.
  • Responsible for coordinating engineering activities such as software loading, and defect management during system integration and test phases.
  • Work closely with cross functional Agile teams in an integrated team environment to foster creativity, achieve program objectives, and build customer trust.
  • Conduct analysis, perform trade studies, and develop technical recommendations.
  • Showcase strong analytical and problem-solving skills by driving emerging issues to prompt resolution. Elevate concerns to management and program leadership as necessary. Investigate Problem Reports in partnership with Mission Systems to ensure a quality deliverable.
  • Mentor early career systems engineers.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
  • 5+ years’ experience with systems engineering.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management principles and practices.
  • 3+ years’ experience in computer hardware, software and network troubleshooting.
  • Experience integrating and troubleshooting computational systems with Microsoft Windows and/or Linux operating systems
  • Experience on T-7, T-38, T-45, MQ-25 or other fighter platform.
  • Experience with Agile/SAFe.
  • Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Summary pay range: $119,850 – $162,150
