Source Strategies Analysts collaborate with customers and source providers to develop comprehensive multi-intelligence (multi-INT), multi-source strategies to address intelligence problems. They create tasking and dissemination requirements; adjudicate requirements; analyze and investigate collection performance; assess and report on end-to-end GEOINT system performance data; and advise customers

MANDATORY QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: For this particular job, applicants must meet all competencies reflected under the Mandatory Qualification Criteria to include education (if required). Online resumes must demonstrate qualification by providing specific examples and associated results, in response to the announcement’s mandatory criteria specified in this vacancy announcement:

1. Demonstrated experience in GEOINT tasking and collection operations.
2. Demonstrated understanding of GEOINT imaging systems, capabilities and architecture.
3. Demonstrated experience balancing customer needs with platform availability and capability.
4. Demonstrated experience in translating customer needs into requirements.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: A. Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in any field, preferably Liberal Arts or the Physical Sciences, or a related field. -OR- B. Combination of Education and Experience: A minimum of 24 semester (36 quarter) hours of coursework in any area listed in option A, plus applied experience in the intelligence field, imagery analysis, the use of current GIS tools, or a related area that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties associated with this work. As a rule, 30 semester (45 quarter) hours of coursework is equivalent to one year of experience. Candidates should show that their combination of education and experience totals 4 years. -OR- C. Experience: A minimum of 4 years of applied experience in the intelligence field, imagery analysis, the use of current GIS tools, or a related area that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties associated with this work.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT: Near visual acuity of 20/40 or better with or without corrective lenses

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: In addition to the mandatory qualifications, experience in the following is desired:

1. Strong communication (written and oral) and collaboration skills.
2. Experience representing your organization’s interests and positions to various parties in meetings, conferences, technical exchanges, and working groups.
3. Provides subject-matter expertise and mission content for briefings, executive summaries, and collection postures for senior leaders.
4. Experience mentoring/developing junior Source Strategies Analysts (SSA) on GEOINT Collection tradecraft.
5. Demonstrates effective skill in balancing competing and complex priorities under abbreviated timelines.
6. Related Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) certifications (e.g. GPC-Fundamentals).
