Job Description
The Advanced Programs and Exploitation (APEX) team within Lockheed Martin Space is looking for a motivated software engineer to support ongoing programs and internal research and development efforts focused on remote sensing data processing, exploitation applications, and simulation capabilities.
In this position you will be developing new multi-int mission processing applications and simulations, as well as maintaining legacy code utilized in other applications. The selected employee will work in coordination with fellow software engineers for all activities required to develop, test, and deliver prototype and fully capable systems. This position involves design, development, maintenance, and testing of mainly C++ with some potential exposure to Java, Python, and Rust.
We are seeking a candidate who not only excels in software development but also demonstrates strong leadership potential, with the ability to guide technical decisions and mentor team members.
This position is in our offices in beautiful Boulder, Colorado.
Basic Qualifications
• Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) field from an accredited institution.
• Proficiency in C++
• Ability to obtain a secret government clearance

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Security Clearance Information
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
