Proposal Summary:

The Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD(A&S)) is responsible for leading the U.S. Department of Defense’s (DoD) efforts related to research and development, advanced technology, developmental test and evaluation, production, logistics, installation management, military construction, defense procurement, acquisition policy, environmental and nuclear security, chemical and biological matters, operational energy plans and programs, corrosion policy and oversight, human capital initiatives, as well as small and disadvantaged business management. To accomplish this mission, OUSD(A&S) requires administrative, analytical, and strategic communication support services.

Position Summary:

MSI is seeking a Senior Facilitator who will be responsible for facilitating meetings and correspondence within OUSD(A&S) as well as across the interagency. The Senior Facilitator will provide technical guidance and direction for multiple projects of high complexity and utilize their strong experience with graphic design, illustration, and graphic facilitation. The position will be part-time and based in the DC metro area.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical guidance and direction involving multiple projects of high complexity.

Monitor due dates, coordinate, assist in completing official correspondence and documents for signature, including letters, notices, instructions, and memoranda.

Assist in completing and track/follow-up on assigned OUSD Action Packages and Division documents in routing.

Agenda management, meeting management, information management, content management, tasker management, office management, document management, facilities management, personnel management, security management, travel management, customer relationship management, operations management, and other duties

Provide graphic design, illustration, and graphic facilitation.

Utilize quantitative and analytical skills

Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree required; master’s degree preferred. Training or certifications in human resources, graphics, or group facilitation preferred.

5+ years’ experience in DoD. Prior military or DoD civilian/contractor experience (preferred).

Experience with graphic design, illustration, and graphic facilitation.

Executive level facilitation support experience, experience within DoD and other federal agencies.

Experience in leading and providing technical guidance and direction involving multiple projects of high complexity.

Good quantitative and analytical skills; Superior communication skills, both oral and written (required).

High energy, enthusiasm, tact, ability to effectively interact with senior executives from Government and industry.

Ability to create and foster a cooperative work environment; detailed oriented in completing assigned tasks.

Availability for occasional travel; Active Secret Clearance with the ability to upgrade to TS/SCI.

At least 4 years of relevant experience.
