You will serve as a Records and Information Management Specialist in the Service Treatment Records Unit (STRU), Records and Performance Section (MMPB-2), Manpower Management Performance Branch (MMPB), Manpower Management Division (MM), Manpower & Reserve Affairs Department (M& RA) of HQ US MARINE CORPS. In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
- successfully completed one full year of graduate level education; or
- successfully completed a bachelor’s degree with superior academic achievement; or
- combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following: 1) Analyzing and interpreting regulatory, policy, and legal issues related to records management to ensure compliance with established standards; 2) Developing summaries of case facts derived from records management process to provide understanding of case record history; and 3) Identifying and evaluating critical components from records to ensure pertinent details are included in case assessments and processing.
