We are Lockheed Martin
You will be the Project Engineer on the AMMM Project Engineering team supporting C-130, C-5, and P-3 aircraft platforms in a variety of support contracts.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Project Engineer your responsibilities will include:
• Manage a portfolio of effort consisting of complex system/technical development from concept, through design, implementation, test, manufacturing/deployment, sustainment and modifications.
• Ensure alignment with Engineering and Technology strategy, technical feasibility, and manages technical risk.
• Drive planning and execution across all Engineering Teams to meet contract cost, schedule, and technical requirements and satisfy customer needs.
• Act as single voice and point of contact to program management and senior leadership on program execution.
• Provide timely and accurate insight to key program impacts or opportunities to the Program Manager.
• Develop innovative and scalable standardized processes to maintain agility and flexibility.
• Complete all Earned Value Management assigned duties to include work authorization requests, estimate at complete reviews, schedule status, variance reporting, comprehensive estimates at complete, and proposal tasks.

This position is in Marietta, GA Discover Marietta.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree with a STEM major required.
• 9 years experience in an aircraft design, test, integration, or sustainment environment
• Project Management or Project Engineering experience
• Experience managing conflicting priorities.
• Previous CAM (Control Account Manager) management experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) responsibilities
• Demonstrated understanding of Program planning and management of complex program issues

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Security Clearance Information
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
