This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for AcqDemo Business and Technical Management Career Path (NH) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

About the Position: Serves as advisor to management concerning the analysis of major administrative-technical and program aspects of substantive mission-oriented programs.

This is a pay banded position. The NH-03 encompasses grades 12 and 13 on the General Schedule. Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone–no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Who May Apply: US Citizens

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of experience which includes: 1) Providing complex program management support services in the areas of cost analysis and monitoring, annual/multi-year/long range fiscal planning, program evaluation, and development of acquisition and cost reports; 2) Performing cost analysis and/or evaluation of complex interrelated programmatic and requirement issues regarding the effectiveness of line program operations in meeting established goals and objectives; and 3) Performing complete cost and/or economic analyses of limited scope or portions of larger projects.

This typically includes work performed at the next lower grade/level NH-02 (GS-11) position in the federal service.
