Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (MS) is seeking an Principal Computer Systems Analyst (SAP Business Partner) to utilize SAP manufacturing, production, or material requirements planning functionality. This person will focus on maintaining and enhancing the Heritage ES (Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems) SAP environment to promote successful Manufacturing Execution System (MES) operations. This person will also focus on the rollout of S/4 PEO to all of the MS sites as part of the 1ERP Phase 5 project starting in 2025.
The SAP Business Partner supports the Manufacturing Operations, Planning and Control functions within the SAP/ERP environment with a focus on the functionality of MES. This includes all Northrop Grumman Heritage Electronic Systems Manufacturing locations / departments utilizing MES functionality.
The SAP Business Partner acts as the liaison between the Heritage ES manufacturing business operation’s customers and the ES & CSO SAP IT support team. He or she will be in close communications with the MES customer base to prioritize SAP enhancements, document requirements, and develop test scripts, training, communications, and implementations of new SAP functionality. Additionally, this person will be required to support training of new hire operators, technicians, production control and engineering users who need to learn SAP. This person will also be responsible to cross functionally communicate with other SAP Business Partners as required from a team lead perspective to support successful ERP operations.
The SAP Business Partner will also participate in the development, testing and migration from ERP2 SAP to S/4 PEO as part of the 1ERP Phase 5 project. This requires the replication of our custom MES transactions into PEO, with testing and validation from our users for buy-in. The Business Partner will be responsible to ensure the solutions are consistent with manufacturing objectives and Prop procedures. Many assignments are complex and will be performed independently. The Business Partner will be given latitude in determining objectives and course of action pertaining to the MES assignment. The SAP Business Partner will be contributing to decisions that are long-lasting and heavily influence the future course of the manufacturing organization. The SAP Business Partner serves as an ERP spokesperson for the MES ERP organization on major matters pertaining to its policies, plans, and objectives.

Basic Qualifications for Level 3
Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience in some of these: operations, production, manufacturing, quality, industrial engineering, software development or equipment maintenance; OR candidates with a Master's degree and 3 years of related experience.
Experience on the manufacturing floor with ERP2 SAP business processes in manufacturing and production.
Advanced Experience with Excel, Power Point, Word skills
Experience with SAP systems
Experience with project management
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional experience in manufacturing, materials / production planning
Experience with SAP and/or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
Experience with MS Access, Oracle and /or database architecture and design including SQL
Experience in defense, aerospace, or security industries
Technical experience working in a manufacturing/production environment
Salary Range: $100,300.00 – $150,500.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
