ELECTRONICS MECHANIC HELPER

FOR THE WG-05 POSITION
This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: 1) Following directions and working closely with others; 2) Following safety regulations and procedures; and 3) Interpreting and applying blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, national Electric Code, specifications and regulations.

FOR THE WG-08 POSITION
This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: 1) Reading and interpreting blueprints, circuit diagrams, programmable logic circuitry, technical equipment maintenance and operations manuals, and specifications.2) Utilizing a wide variety or electronic test instruments. 3) Utilizing hand tools including screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, drills, taps, dies, wire strippers, soldering irons, solder pots, heat sinks, and solder extractors. 4) Working with delicate or precision parts of programmable logic circuitry. 5) Utilizing various standard computer programs such as Word, Access, and Excel.
