We are seeking a Dynamic Test Engineer to conduct vibration, shock, and acoustic testing in the Acoustic Vibration Laboratory (AVL). This position supports spacecraft flight and development sub-system level testing for all Lockheed Martin Space programs. You will perform as a Certified Test Conductor (CTC) in order to plan, prepare, and lead dynamic test activities. In this hands-on position, you will be responsible for test setup, data instrumentation, conducting tests, operating high value test equipment, and directing flight hardware lifts/handling. This position requires the frequent use and application of dynamic testing technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques.
Summary of Key Duties for this Position
• Act as engineering test lead and Certified Test Conductor (CTC) for hands-on test setup, test operations, and tear-down for dynamic testing including acoustic, shock, and vibration testing of developmental and flight spacecraft hardware
• Design and analyze unique test solutions including fixture creation/modification and instrumentation configuration
• Create test procedures, conduct pre-test meetings, and perform data review/processing
• Gather test requirements and interface with program customers to ensure successful test execution
• Ensure the compliance with LM command media and processes
• Troubleshoot test anomalies and equipment
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Engineering – Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace or a related discipline, or equivalent combined experience/education.
• Excellent technical writing, planning and communication skills.
• Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Basic instrumentation and data acquisition knowledge and experience.
• Practical knowledge of engineering theories, applications, and analysis.

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
