MSI, A Tetra Tech Company, needs an Electrical Engineer in Accra, Ghana for renovation and expansion construction project on US Embassy Compound (NEC) for State Department Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO). Requires a US Govt. Secret Security Clearance.
The Project
Renovation and expansion of 3-story USAID Annex Building that will incorporate the latest technical, physical, and environmental security features.

Assignment is expected to last 16 months.
Housing and transportation allowances provided.
Uplift includes 20% of base salary, plus 10% COLA.

Position Description

Provide project with full range of critical engineering and construction management oversight.
Perform technical inspections of electrical work, monitor construction contractor’s quality control program, and review project drawings to ensure compliance.
Observe on-site construction and determine if construction elements are being installed, formed, and executed properly.
Monitor construction progress with regard to project schedule and submit weekly progress reports with recommendations based on technical review of project documents and field inspections.

Requirements

US Govt. Secret Clearance or higher

US Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
OR Current US PE license can substitute for degree
7 years construction experience
ABET accredited (not equivalent) international degree accepted in lieu of US Bachelor’s or US PE
