This position is located at Unaccompanied Housing at NAS Pensacola, FL. The purpose of this position is to provide on-site facility coordination and management for Unaccompanied Housing Operations consisting of 2000+ rooms. This position does not have a positive education requirement. The Unaccompanied Housing Building Manager Supervisor is responsible for the management of several Unaccompanied Housing (UH) buildings, oversight of UH baggage storage areas and serves as liaison between residents and the Complex Manager. Manage and provide oversight of multiple Unaccompanied Housing (UH) buildings. Supervise the building managers assigned to their assigned buildings, including prioritizing, training, assigning, and evaluating performance of their duties and responsibilities. Ensures that EEO concepts are applied and an appropriate work environment is maintained. Plan and schedule ongoing production oriented work for building managers on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis adjusting staff levels as required to meet workload demand. Review building managers’ assessment reports and determine if there might be any resident liability for property damage. The complex manager will also act as a liaison between the UH staff and the tenant commands regarding resident concerns. Continually track and validate trouble calls and work orders through completion and perform quality checks on completed work. Ensure all rooms are inspected in accordance with higher authority and results posted in the Enterprise Military Housing (eMH) property management system. Conduct periodic inspections of the interior and exterior of UH facilities. Submit deficiency reports, as necessary, to the UH manager and the Public Works Officer (PWO). Accompany tenant commands, Public Works, Security, Fire, Base Operating Services Contractor (BOSC) and the Environmental Preventive Medicine Unit (EPMU) personnel during inspections of UH facilities and resident living standards. Other duties as assigned.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

A combination of experience and education is required. The incumbent must have a minimum of three years of experience in a position related to facility / maintenance management, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience. Requires 24 months of work experience that demonstrates knowledge of the basic principles, concepts, standards, and regulations of customer service. Ideally possess knowledge of Commander Navy Installation Command (CNIC) policies and standards including safety, environmental and fire prevention regulations and practices. The incumbent is given a wide latitude in exercising independent initiative and judgment in the execution of duties and responsibilities related to building management. Knowledge of agency management procedures and general business practices related to the management and utilization of government housing facilities and quarters. Incumbent is sufficiently knowledgeable of building management functions. Receives general guidance, advice and suggested techniques for handling unusual, non-recurring situations from UH Manager or Housing Installation Program Manager (HIPM). Must be skilled in the use of a personal computer, Microsoft Office applications. Must possess basic math and reading skills. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing in English.
