Trade and Development Agency
This position is part of the, US Trade and Development Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating a variety of administrative management functions which include procurement of supplies and equipment, property management, inter-agency agreements, personnel security, human resources, space management, records management, mail services, facilities and equipment maintenance, and travel program management. Supports the Office of Administration with the acquisition, assignment, and utilization of space and property. Conducts periodic inventories, maintains depreciation accounts and repair cost analyses, disposal of excess property, and obtaining releases from accountability for lost or stolen property.
Serves as a travel advisor providing support and guidance to agency staff as they make travel, hotel, and other arrangements related to domestic and international business trips.
Provides acquisition support as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) Level I in support of the Office of Administration for the requisition, purchase, storage, and issuance of office supplies and equipment. Ensures contract funding for active contracts and performs invoice management to pay contract invoices and provides pertinent information required to facilitate de-obligation of contract funds, as required.
Provides support for processing USTDA Inter-Agency Agreements (IAAs), including review and tracking of obligated expenditures.
Coordinates projects/activities related to Human Resources (HR) management including software system enhancements, tracking and processing employee Within-Grade-Increases (WGIs) and career ladder promotions, and processing other personnel actions.
Provides support to develop annual budgets and reviews and tracks expenditures, analyzes available operational budget, and makes recommendations for reductions or increases relative to assigned contracts or other related activities.
At the GS-09 level, you must meet one of the following qualifications:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-08 level. Specialized experience is that which has equipped the applicant with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this position includes: coordinating and monitoring a variety of administrative functions and services within an office, including those associated space and property management, travel, operational budget tracking, human resources, procurement, to include inter-agency agreements and contracts, correspondence, records management, and other administrative areas. Demonstrated experience adapting administrative procedures and processes to the improvement of operational effectiveness.
