ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Immediate Office of the Chief of Naval Operations

You will serve as a Administrative Assistant in the Naval Legal Service Command (NLSC) of NLSC. There is no substitute of education for experience for this series at this grade level. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following: 1) Completing procurement transactions for supplies, equipment, and/or services; 2) Utilizing various web-based programs to conduct research, review and reconcile information, and/or run reports; 3) Evaluating requirements, measuring relevant procurement factors, soliciting cost estimates, and recommending course of action to achieve objective, as necessary, for certain, non-specific procurement requests.
