Job Description
This position is for an F-35 Modification Time Compliance Technical Directives (TCTD) Author. The role will be located at the customer site in Ft Worth, Texas.
Candidate will provide technical expertise and support in the development, planning, and implementation of Modification TCTDs in accordance with SOI 1514.01 F-35 Time Compliance Technical Directive and PI-220 TCTD development and support process. TCTD Authoring developing Modification TCTDs containing necessary planning elements: Engineering Scope, Change Request (CR), Engineering Change Proposal (ECP), repair and/or replacement procedures, team size, skill composition, equipment tooling assessment, maintenance level, TCTD authoring assessment, and Out-of-Service times.
Provide Modification solutions developing Routine Modification solutions / TCTDs IAW: Forced Retrofit Fast Track Change Requests (CR), Government Furnished Instructions (GFI) Part Number/Serial Number Verifications, and Temporary Field Modifications (TFM).
Determining Modification TCTDs Requirements, Facilities/equipment tooling assessment, Part Supportability Maintenance level (Unit or Depot), Modification duration and scheduled Out-of-Service Time Man-Hours, and TCTD Effectivity. Providing Technical Support to maintainers and Modification Teams during TCTD validation/verification events during mod execution in the field after formal Modification of unverified TCTD release and responding to Action Requests (ARs).
Representing MUO at: Change Integration Team, Engineering Review Board (ERB), Assessing and providing engineering actions and concurring of Change Requests (CR), Assessing all Modification Change Requests TCTD delivery dates, Part/Kit Availability, Special Tooling Availability, and Funding. Ensure Modification TCTDs are properly developed and coordinated amongst required stakeholders to include: Engineering, Planning, Procurement, Supply Chain, applicable Integrated Product Teams (IPT’s), and teaming partners Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills :
B.S. in Aerospace, Engineering, Aviation Mgmt, or related technical field with a minimum of 4 yrs related experience. Education requirement may be waived based on specific / related job experience. F-35 program experience highly desired US military aircraft maintenance / maintenance management, Eligible US security clearance, and Experience utilizing F-35 tools such as: JTD, PDM, JDL, VAS, Atlas, LDM, PAS, Vista, JEDI, and Full complement of MS Office tools.
