Applicants must possess:
Successful completion of a Bachelor’s or higher level degree in operations research.
OR
Successful completion of a Bachelor’s or higher level degree with at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics. At least 3 of the 24 semester hours must have been in calculus.

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Designing or developing mathematical, statistical, and econometric operations research models in support of manpower requirements determinations; 2) Providing automation solutions and support, data manipulation, entry and conversion in support of manpower requirements determination programs; 3) Collecting, analyzing or presenting information to senior leadership with new and developing software to include Automated Intelligence (AI); 4) Developing program objectives or providing guidance concerning infrastructure support issues and resources; NOTE: This experience must be supported in your resume.
