Army Tank-Automotive and Armament Command (TACOM)
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: This position is located in the Materiel Systems Organization of TACOM. This position will be filled on a permanent basis. FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university. In order to qualify, you must meet the education and experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
BASIC EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
A. Degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science, or a field directly related to this position.
OR
B. Combination of education and experience. Courses equivalent to a major field of study (30 semester hours) as shown in paragraph A above, plus additional education or experience related to the duties of this position.
AND
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must described at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level (GS-12) which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled, such as utilizing automated tools to ensure data is adequate, accurate, or appropriate for use; conducting data analysis to improve the effectiveness of the organization’s operations or procedures; and developing data visualizations or interactive reports to provide meaningful insight from data.
