In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade or band is required. It is defined as one year of specialized experience equivalent to the DE-02 pay band (GS-11 equivalent or higher) in the Federal Service which includes one or more of the following areas:

  1. Managing facilities management and maintenance programs including developing and executing Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization (SRM) projects, Military Construction projects, task orders, work orders or job orders, and/or managing work to time, scope, and cost.
  2. Assessing the effectiveness of project and contractual activities by analyzing feedback from customers and senior leaders, interpreting relevant regulations, policies, and laws, and formulating recommendations to enhance overall program operations.
  3. Deliver service and support to both internal and external customers, leadership, and partners by formulating and effectively communicating goals, tasks, policies, and procedures through both verbal and written channels.
  4. Management of space utilization evaluation and planning include building and equipment acquisitions and divestitures, ensuring that real property records accurately reflect facility category code, type and description.
