In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

GS-07:

1 full year of graduate level education

or

superior academic achievement

GS-09:

master’s or equivalent graduate degree

or

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.B. or J.D., if related

GS-09:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing environmental investigations and providing written and/or verbal feedback to both tenants and Environmental leadership to support respective tenant overall environmental conformance in regards to, but not limited to areas of environmental focus such as hazardous waste storage and/or disposal; air emissions; oil and hazardous substances spill contingency; spill prevention control and countermeasures; Toxic Control Substances Act; solid waste management; potable water; domestic and industrial wastewater; and storm water programs; Comprehensive Environmental and Education Program (CETEP); Clean Air Act (CAA); the Resource Conservation Recovery Act (RCRA); Environmental Management Systems (EMS); Integrated Solid Waste Management; Pollution Prevention Act.

GS-07:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector assisting in providing technical expertise to customers upon completion of on and/or off-site investigations when resolving enforcement/compliance issues with environmental programs. Programs include, but are not limited to the Clean Water Act (CWA), Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA), Clean Air Act (CAA), the Resource Conservation Recovery Act (RCRA), Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), Comprehensive Environmental Training and Education Program (CETEP), Pollution Prevention Act, Integrated Solid Waste Management, Potable Water; Domestic & Industrial Wastewater; and Storm Water Programs, and Oil and Hazardous Substances Spill Contingency.
