Job Description

Digital. Dominant. Ready. The F-22 Program is seeking a Lead Systems Architect to ensure the Raptor continues to provide our nation and allies air superiority as a pathfinder to next-generation technologies.

What You Will Be Doing
As a Systems Architecture Principal you will be primarily responsible for:
•Designing, developing and overseeing system architectures, including systems design activities.
•Serving as focal point for the development and communication of the system architecture.
•Ensuring conversion of mission requirements into total systems solutions that account for design and technology maturity constraints of the system.
•Developing systems and system element architecture, design, and interface definition.
•Supporting internal and external design reviews, including international teams
•Maintaining knowledge of current and developing technologies and design and analysis methodologies.
•Developing models and architectural guidelines for current and future system development.
•Collaborating with architects across platforms to synergize LM Aero systems for re-use.
In this role you will also focus on prioritizing customer capabilities and developing an architectural approach that supports continuous, incremental advancement for their capability set.

Who You Are
You are a multi-faceted teammate able to communicate and function effectively on an engineering team to create a collaborative and inclusive environment that allows for the establishment of mission goals. You have experience with itemized planning and prioritization of tasks that drives the efficient execution of objectives. You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Basic Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree in STEM discipline (Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering preferred)
•Demonstrated experience with software architecture, networking, and computer resources (memory, processing, etc.)
•Demonstrated knowledge of systems architecture best practices

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Security Clearance Information

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
