We are seeking a Manufacturing Support Team Member at the Strategic Weapons Facility Atlantic (SWFLANT) on Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, GA to work in the Handling and Transportation group to provide support for the handling and transportation of D5 missile motors and D5 reentry systems. Additional responsibilities will include coordinating wharf operations.

In this dynamic role you will:
– Supervise hourly personnel in the performance of reentry systems handling and transportation.
– Review, analyze, and interpret procedural documentation and production schedules.
– Interface daily with various Strategic Weapon Facility Atlantic organizations both Government and LM in the normal accomplishment of duties.

This position requires flexibility in work schedule to cover various shift times.

To be considered, you will need the ability to qualify and maintain eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance and for the Personnel Reliability Program (PRP) and Radiological Controls Program (RADCON).

Basic Qualifications

– Experience with procedural documentation, disciplines and schedules.
– Proficiency with Microsoft Office suites such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
– Able to meet and maintain eligibility in the Personnel Reliability Program (PRP) and Radiological Controls Program (RADCON).
– US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret Security clearance. *Cannot be a dual citizen*. Interim Secret Clearance required prior to start.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Security Clearance Information

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
